This among other KitchenAid products were a wedding gift. I absolutely LOVE this blender. It’s been great for making smoothies in the morning for breakfast and also as an ice grinder. It has 9 speeds which allow for any consistancy. I highly recommend this product.

Have stuck my old blender in the cupboard. This is so convenient with the detachable motor – lays flat in a drawer. Clean up is fast. What SOLD me, was the stainless steel blade. I keep finding new uses for it, from bread crumbs to cream soups!

This hand blender is GREAT because I make fresh salsa often and it’s a lot easier to use and clean this hand blender than to use my food processor. The attachments are easy to remove and store. I’ve looked at a few different hand blenders and I think that quality will always be worth the extra money you put into the product. It’s been worth it.

This is a great machine… Although it is somewhat larger than our old stick blender, there is something to be said for size, it does matter. With 9 speeds you can do almost anything. Frozen drinks are a snap. It crushes ice better than a hammer. Clean-up is easy and quick. This is a heavy duty machine that will be used often.

When I bought one of these I wasn’t sure if I would really use it. I don’t use it all that frequently but when I do, it’s a great tool. You can’t beat it for making a cream of something or other soup, or for beating something that is threatening to be lumpy. I also have to pass along a good word about KitchenAid. After I’d had mine maybe 18 months a little piece of the “arm” that holds the blade came loose that made it unusable. I emailed the company to ask for suggestions and they immediately sent me a new arm, right away, no shipping charge, no interrogation, and they even got the color right. Since then when I’ve replaced appliances I’ve tried to replace them with KitchenAid.

If I could have afforded it I wish I could have purcahsed the full package but this item is exceptional. I purcased it after seeing it reviewed on a PBS cooking show where it received the best rating. There is a knob at the top to set the speed which is not apperent in the photos. I have used it to make sunflower seed butter, strawberries for ice cream and peach jam. I cannot speak to longevity but so far this is a great item. I just wish I had gotten the wisk/chopper package.

excellent product. heavier weight than most and very powerful. easy “on” button and good grip. eject buttons are simple and the unit is easy to clean. highly recommend it and the price is right.

I had never used an immersion blender before purchasing this one. I’m very happy with it even though I have only used it a few times (I’ve had it a few weeks), so I cannot attest to its longevity. It worked superbly for making creamed soups and mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving. It is a very handy tool and I plan to use it a lot in the future.

This one was rated top notch, and it is that good. Solid, quality construction. The red one is beautiful, as a gift for my husband it was a hit, he loves it. and it gets use almost every other day. It is a-most-have-tool, we have been able to enjoy so many different things, from delicious bean purees (making our own Hummus, sauces, refried beans, and many ethnic dishes),to sweet treat with yogurts, soups, etc.
